Pre-Session
This comes before you meet with us. You choose your clothes, shoes, hairstyle, makeup etc. Make sure your nails (toes included . . . we love feet and might want to see yours!) are nicely manicured. Do look like yourself. You are having a picture taken to remember what you are like right now. If you wouldn't normally wear bright pink blush and thick black eyeliner or a Mohawk then don't wear it to your photo session. You won't feel comfortable and the camera will know it. Then again, if you are trying to make a statement and that's the look your are going for--by all means work it! We'll cheer you on.

Consider wearing bright colors that bring out your eyes and layers are always a great bet! Steer clear of patterns that are too distracting (unless that's the look you are after) but don't limit yourself to solids either. Patterns can add a great deal of character and funkiness.

Oh, and don't forget that before we can snap your marvelous photos you'll need to pay your session fee in full. Session fees are non-refundable. Cash or check only.

Where will my session be?
We make you decide this one. It's all about what you think will allow you to loosen up and express who you really are. You can have your photo session indoor at our studio, outdoor at one of our many choice locations or at a location of your own. Please note that photo shoots 30 miles away or further from our home base in Hemet, California will be charged a travel fee of $100.00 or more depending on the distance requested. Too bad gas is so expensive these days!

How long will my session be?
Expect us to be some of your closest friends for 2 hours on your session day and for forever after that! We do not rush our clients because that won't get the job done. Instead we stay until we are certain we've got what we need to make you exuberantly shout:
"Wow, these are the best portraits ever! We are going to show them to everyone and tell all of our friends that Sevilla Photography is the best!"

So how many photos does that mean you'll be taking?
Again, we shoot until the job is done. A normal session will yield over 300 pictures. This means no worries to you because we shoot digitally. This allows you, your children, family, fiance etc. the ability to relax and be yourselves. If you want to do a leprechaun clack-of-the-feet or dance a crazy dance go for it! You are more than welcome, invited and cheered on to experiment. If the photos don't work out in the end we simply erase them and it's like they never happened. It's our little secret.

What can I expect to have happen during my photoshoot?
During your photo session we move around a lot. We like to photograph from different angles experimenting with light and backgrounds. Be prepared to move with us. It's fun, you'll see. We'll attempt to crack jokes and make silly noises . . . anything to get you to relax and feel comfortable and confident with us. Let's just say that after all the shoots we've done we've about mastered all the farm animal sounds, cheerleading chants and Lord of the Dance moves.

Sometimes we will have you do some crazy poses. This may seem awkward to you and you many want to resist. Alas, don't give in to your doubts or those of your group! We've found these are usually some of the best photos of all.

What happens when the session is over and how do I see my proofs so that I can order my free prints?
At the end of our time together we'll part ways having become better photo chicks for capturing you and your style and you'll have some new friends. You'll anticipate getting your web album (sent as a link to your email in 2-3 weeks after your portrait session--excludes wedding and senior portraits) and will be awed by how fantastic you look. You will want to stare at the pictures of yourself and/or your loved ones for hours on end and marvel at the model you are. You might also laugh because you'll be surprised at your funniness and casual approach to capturing yourself on camera.

As soon as you have come to terms with how dang good lookin' your pictures are you'll email or call us with your order for free prints that are included with your session fee. These photos will give you not just hours, but days of enjoyment as you gaze at how unbelievable you look.

Then, within the month (because your web album will only be on the web for one month) you'll forward your web album to all your friends, family, coworkers and quite simply anyone know. They will then ooohhhh and aahhhhh over your photos and possibly desire to order prints for themselves to prove they knew you!

You'll send in their orders along with any extra prints you would like to order for yourself in one nice email or phone call to us. Once your order is paid in full we'll happily have our professional printers print your masterpieces and you'll be able to pick them up in 3-6 weeks after your order is placed. (Rush orders are available at a 50% price increase.) When your prints are ready for pickup we'll call you. If you'd like us to ship your prints you will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs.

Regrettably, after one month we'll have to remove your web album to make room for another totally amazing photo session that we can't wait for the world to see. If per chance one of those subsequent sessions are because of you, we will not be the only ones to benefit. You will receive a free 8x10 of your choice from your photo session and we will all have won!

Is reordering days, months and years later possible?
You might find that after your web album has expired that you were so good looking that you'll want to order more of your prints to proudly display and secretly admire. Guess what! That's just fine with us. We keep your photos forever on CD so you can reorder anytime.

Can we meet you first if we still aren't convinced you are right for us?
Sure! We love to meet with our clients before they book with us. We'd be happy to sit down and discuss what you did and didn't like from your past photo sessions with other photographers and what you'd like for us to capture. We have gobs of prints we can show you so you can see the high quality of our services. We also have samples of our incredible DVD's and coffee table books for you to view and fall in love with.

In the end we know you'll love your prints. You'll help to make us famous while we're making you look famous! It's a win-win situation.
